A letterwinner for Bellermine-Jefferson High School, Layana White earned first-team All-CIF and first-team all-league honors during her senior season.

She led the varsity team in scoring, steals and assists, averaging  14.6 ppg, 4.5 steal pg, 3.0 rpg and 4.0 assists pg. White went on to play in the PAC-12 for the University of Arizona where she earned her collegiate start in the first game of her freshman season. She scored her career-high against Oregon, shooting 4-4  from the arc with 14 points in the first half to lead the Wildcats in 100-68 victory. White was named Academic Champion of Arizona’s athletic department for two consecutive years.

She finished her undergraduate career at USC, where she studied pre-law and graduated summa cum laude. White is studying health and public policy and will receive her Master’s degree from USC in 2020. White steps into her role as head coach for the CBC program as a seasoned skills trainer and basketball coach for males and females ages 8+. She has trained elite athletes in the greater Los Angeles area, from NCAA Division I to professional and overseas basketball players.
